Fashion Show

AAA's biggest event of the year!!!

Description

One of AAA's biggest events of the year is the annual Fashion Show that takes place during second semester. It is a showcase to demonstrate the wide array of artistic talents of the general members in addition to other groups on campus, who are all welcome to join in on the festivity. The variety of performances the members take place in vary from traditional cultural dances like Indian and Chinese, to formal dances such as waltz and tango, and of course who can forget the modern hip hop inspired performances. So, if you like to get involved, meet new people, or just find a place to be silly, learn new skills, and dance around, check out AAA's Fashion Show!

Meet and greet/first day of practice starts Saturday, September 10th, 2011 and September 11th, 2011 for the different scenes.

All practices will be held at the Oasis Multipurpose Room, which is located at the far end of the Union basement.

All organizations that are interested in PERFORMING or EMCEEING for the show should send an email to the fashion show head coordinator at fs.headcoord@gmail.com.

Relay for Life Benefit Concert

Date: Feb. 9th, Thursday
Place: Canopy
Time: Doors open at 8pm (performances start 8:30pm) til 2am
Price: $5 pre-order or $7 at the door

Come support Relay for Life and Colleges Against Cancer in our fight against cancer during this "Relay for Life Benefit Concert." Money from your ticket purchase will go directly back to our team's total. All the money raised will go towards the American Cancer Society to fund cancer research, cancer patient programs, transportation for patients and more.

When buying the tickets, be sure to mention Asian American Association (AAA) for your team's name.

Performers include Josh Brickman, The 92s, Mike Lo and DJ MVP
